COURSE AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Unsatisfactory results represent an important group of patients undergoing cosmetic breast augmentation (20 to 30 % in published mega series). A new approach to the problem will be shown by our guest speakers.
At completion of the course attendees will be able to:
  • Formulate an adequate pre-surgical plan according to the algorythm proposed by the Authors
  • Understand the advantages and limits of fat grafting for secondary breast correction
  • Understand the value of the Composite Breast Augmentation for improving the results
  • Expand the strategies in the management of breast augmentation
  • Understand the management of breast capsule, rippling, capsulotomy vs. capsulectomy for secondary breast management
  • Understand the concept of change of plane
  • Improve the techniques for shaping the breast
