COURSE and LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The objective of this live surgery course is to introduce the structure concept of rhinoplasty. This concept focuses on minimal resection of tissues and addition of structure to enhance support and provide a more predictable long term rhinoplasty outcomes. Addition of structure to the nose will minimize the chance of deformity and functional compromise. Structural grafts such as columellar struts, alar batten grafts, spreader flaps, caudal extension grafts and tip grafting will be covered. Variant forms of nasal anatomy will be discussed and how such anatomy can be managed to prevent complications.
